HTTP & API checks
Checks web endpoints and APIs from a queue worker: whether each answers with the status you expect, how long it took, whether the body holds a phrase or a JSON field holds a value, and how many days its TLS certificate has left.
Use cases
- Also reads numbers out of any JSON API (a queue depth, an SLA figure, a business KPI) and files them as metrics.
- Results are metrics for charts and alert rules, and rows tracked per check, so an endpoint going down is a change.
- Read-only; header values may be secret references.
