Module · v1.0.0
SQL databases (connector)
A data source connector for SQL databases — PostgreSQL, MySQL or MariaDB, SQL Server — run on a queue worker, so it reaches a database inside the worker's network.
Use cases
- Workflows run the named queries an administrator configured (source.fetch, source.lookup) and write the tables they listed (source.write); values always travel as driver parameters.
- The worked example of a connector: copy it to make one for any system with a Python driver.
- The worker's Python needs the engine's driver (pg8000, pymysql or python-tds).
Included in packs
Each of these packs carries this module, so installing the pack installs it too.
